Madison Speed Skating Practice Schedule

We are currently in the off-season. Summer ice practices will begin July 8th. Ice practices in Madison will begin in August. Join the forum to get the latest updates and schedules.

Ice:

• Summer ice: Sundays, 3:15pm-5:15pm, on June 8, 15, 22, 29 and July 13, 27. We will be skating at the Pettit National Ice Center. The cost is $15/person. Join the forum to organize car pools.
• Open Ice: Wednesdays, 11:30am-12:15pm - Several of our members meet at Capitol Ice Arena. There is rarely anyone else on the ice, and we do 3 to 4 sets of 3000m. That keeps the speeds down, but still gives us a great endurance workout in a short lunchtime period. Cost: $4

Inline:

• Tuesdays, 5:45pm - Race & paceline training on the Capitol City Bike Trail at Nob Hill Rd (run by the Mad City Rollers)
• Thursdays, 5:45pm - Race & paceline training on the UW Research Park loop at Charmany Dr (run by the Mad City Rollers)
