If there is a hot bed for a sport on ice, Madison is the place. MSSC is now in its 74th season, and is the second oldest ice speed skating club in the United States. It is also one of the most successful. The club has consistently produced state and national champions, and has generated many world-class speed skaters. Since 1972, at least one member from the Madison Speed Skating Club has been on every single US Olympic speed skating team. | ![]() |
