Vilas Park Lagoon

• Challenge a speedskater!
• Come and race in Madison's All-City Ice Race.
• The event is free to enter and open to all ages and abilities.
• Skaters will be grouped by age and ability. Awards will be given for each race.
• We will have a limited number of speed skates available to try.
• You may use your own skates (of any kind), or rent skates in the Vilas warming hut.
• We recommend all participants wear a helmet.
• On Sunday, see our representative in the warming hut, lace up, then come out to the west end of the lagoon for the races.
• We appreciate you registering early so that we can make competitive and fun heats.
• To register, e-mail info@madcityspeedskate.com with the following info:
  • name, age, gender
  • short description of skating level
    (include: # of years skating, competitive/recreational, hockey/figure/speed)
• All competitors must submit a signed waiver and USS 1-Day form (don't worry about the $1) before participating.
