Madison Speed Skating Club Coaching Staff

Tom Riley

Tom is the Head Coach for the Madison Speed Skating Club and a Level 1 Certified Coach with U.S. Speedskating.  Tom has been on 6 National Short Track Teams, 2 National Long Track Teams, and 3 Olympic Festival Teams.  He has coached the Madison Speed Skating Club for the past 16 years.  Tom has also coached the Waupaca, Wisconsin and West Allis, Wisconsin clubs in the past.  He has also assisted U.S. Speedskating with Club Clinics.

Katie Traver

Katie is the Assistant Coach for the Madison Speed Skating Club and is responsible for the development and advancement of our Novice skaters.  Katie also assists the the Head Coach with the Intermediate and Advanced Programs.  Katie is a Level 1 Certified Coach with U.S. Speedskating and has been as Assistant Coach with the club for 4 years.
